Oliver Richards, the visionary founder and director of Orms, is an architect of exceptional talent. Holding a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Architecture from Yale, he is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Oliver’s passion for architecture spans different ages, influencing a contemporary design approach that defines Orms’ projects.

Since the early 1990s, Oliver has been a driving force in finding new uses for former commercial buildings. His expertise extends to collaborating closely with end users and developers, establishing principles and motives for robust project creation. His collaborative approach is evident in major commercial schemes for notable entities like Derwent Valley, Redevco, Great Portland Estates, Abstract Securities, GE Capital Real Estate, and Workspace Glebe.

Oliver’s commitment to quality is further reflected in Orms’ work in the education sector, contributing to projects at Highgate School, The King’s School Ely, Uppingham, and Tonbridge schools. Beyond his role at Orms, Oliver has been Vice President for Education at the RIBA and currently chairs the newly formed Croydon Place Review Panel.
