Drawing inspiration from Lucknow Residency, a renowned French-style structure, the restaurant incorporates distinctive features such as an imposing metal structure, vintage industrial joinery details, and a weathered appearance. This design choice adds a layer of uniqueness and establishes a cohesive aesthetic, reminiscent of the bygone eras.

The restaurant’s terrace is designed to face an open courtyard adorned with a striking monumental truss. Positioned against a 30-foot-high wall, the restaurant appears as if it were a restored structure, characterized by brick cladding held together with prominent metallic columns and tie bars. This combination of materials creates an illusion of an aged building preserved through time yet strengthened with metal elements.

To ensure comfort, 40% of the terrace is covered to provide an air-conditioned space while maintaining the site’s openness and transparency through the extensive use of glass. The glass and metal detailing showcase elements inspired by the French industrial era.

Notably, a standout feature is the convertible dance floor—a floating glass box with a glass roof. Adjacent to the dance floor, a large bar area boasts a rustic wooden skeleton covered in charred wood logs and accented with metallic buckles. The storage area showcases classic metal and glass joinery reminiscent of the French industrial era. The dining areas feature rustic brick-clad walls, enhanced with a metal mesh detail on top to create a sense of restoration. A porous metallic screen serves as a structural partition between the dance floor and dining area, showcasing industrial sensibility.

In the reception area, a wall mimics the appearance of the iconic Lucknow Residency, intentionally featuring a distressed and broken look to evoke a literal connection with the structure. The upper deck showcases a wood-fired oven, serving as both a functional workspace and an engaging visual element for visitors to observe.

The material palette primarily consists of brick tiles, metal, wood, and concrete. The lighting is thoughtfully selected to complement the industrial aesthetic. A deliberate inclusion of greenery helps balance the visual impact of the metal and brick elements. When viewed from the outside, the restaurant offers vistas of the vibrant city fabric and its iconic structures, while from the inside, it proudly displays the heritage and legacy of Lucknow’s architectural history.
