The high ceiling and large windows allow for natural light and great views that create an instant connection with the outdoors. Every aspect of this apartment reflects a thoughtful curation process guided by a deep understanding of form, function and desires of its occupants. From the outset, the design philosophy centered on the seamless fusion of minimalist elegance and modern sensibilities.

A large black console in the lobby hints at a bit of quirkiness. This console with gold & silver faces is a bespoke unit designed specifically to create an impression of unorthodox spaces.  A large magnificent crimson red door with gold accents opens to the living room, striking the required contrast to the sage green textured wall. Curved wood-polished corner arches, frame all sides of the living room walls, while the flooring in creamy white Michelangelo marble creates the perfect canvas for a play of colours. An unusual feature of the room is the lack of any sharp corners.

Bespoke seating upholstered in soft earthen colours against the backdrop of a customized wallpaper by Marshalls, along with center and side tables in a fluid-shape Terrazzo tops, all integrate well into this large space. The deck flooring is inspired by nature – wood finish hexagon tiles with bamboo and floral prints.

Though the flooring in all the bedrooms is a grey marble, each room has been given a distinct personality by the GS Design team. While the parent’s room gets a marble ledge by the window for them to sit and relax, the master bedroom is a burst of colour with an orange bed and side tables, while the daughter’s room is a delight with a combination of forest green, white and black/grey, with the latter being her favourite colours.

The dining room is a perfect square with a eight-seater table that has a grey marble top with a lazy susan for ease of serving. For seating one finds six chairs and a double seat, all upholstered in mint blue suede fabric.

The fluted glass sliding door leads you to the large modular kitchen by Ambiiente, which has ample natural light. Grey kitchen deck tile used on the countertop compliment the grey floor marble perfectly while mint green matte acro-glass shutters create the desired contrast with soft veneer shutters.

The powder bathroom is eye-catching with its striking tiles, blue metallic texture paint accentuated by strips in rose gold and a rose gold-coated pedestal washbasin.
